no idea about how much the protective cover is...
I have noticed that many of the divers in my area with computers have metal cages around them. I amhoping that someone will design and manufacture one for the SmartCom - however the lift-up front protective cover will add a level of complexity.
If I find anything I'll post it here
(in fact, I may go down to one of the loal yacht manufacturers and ask what they could do - some of them are pretty skilled at working stainless
