Sharks, like sea turtles, elephants and dolphins were put on this earth for humans to eat.
 
Why were rats, tsetse flies, and mosquitoes put here on this earth?
 
Ok, makes sense. I can see why they thrive.
 
The answer is that rats (plague carriers), tsetse flies (I don't know what disease they carry) and mosquitos (malaria) were put on this earth to limit the expansion of the population. Everyone knows that.
