I just got a new DUI CNSe dry suit (My first dry suit) and need help selecting the proper weight underwear. I am looking at the Software (http://home.att.net/~gchev91/index.htm) undies due to their reasonable price. My “average dive” is about 90-110’ in 50-55 degree water for less then 60 minutes. I am average weight for my build and tolerate cold about average to slightly less then average.

Would you recommend the 200 or 300 weight undies?

Is there another option that I should be considering for the type of diving I do (Money IS an object)?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure how much warmer thinsulate is than fleece, but for your temperature range and times, my 200G thinsulate and military-weight polypro underlayer keep me comfortable. Wetgloves and cold feet are my limiting factors in your scenario.

Mr. Squid I would suggest that you get the 300g and don't wear anything under them... especially anything cotton.

If you need more warmth for very cold water diving them get a polarfleece vest and wear that too.

If you ever plan on getting a P-valve have them put an Uncle Pug button hole in the suit.

This now comes standard (sewn shut until required), although Janice didn't know what to call it :)

Odd that one would actually enjoy having part of a urinary system named after him...oh well, to each his own I guess..

Talk to you guys later...I gotta go take an Uncle Pug..

Hey! So I've got a Prince Albert AND an Uncle Pug!

And an O-ring.

I don't really have a Prince Albert :)

I dunno Ben, the mere fact that you know what a Prince Albert IS generates interest.....

Do you know what a merkin is?

=-)
