I try to download som attachetd file (eg. in the "My homemade logbook"-Thrad)
and only get blank pages.
What is going wrong here ?

some kB example 86kB or 113kB
thanks for quick reaction

and the file type?

A White Screen could indicate that it's not a supported file type... or a PHP error of some sort... but as other attachments work.. it could also be that you may need more than 5 posts to upload attachments, as this is an "anti-spam" setting on our site.

It seams there is a difference between upload and download.
I tried to download.
I red the 5 post level for uploading.

Does the board erases attachments after, lets say for example, 2 years? I saw the interesting files are in posts older than this range.

Can you give a direction for that post.

Last year... We moved from one file system to another, and some links to attachments were lost. Attachments added since then are intact, but attachments prior to Sept 2007 may not appear correctly.

Can you give a direction for that post.

one example is the attach of the following post
3xw. scubaboard. c o m/ foru ms / 445650- post23 . html
sorry, I had to put in blanks because of the less the 5 posts rule for URLs

Sorry... I thought you were trying to upload - not download.

That attachment is technically "there" but not in that location. We haven't been able to figure how to update the links, since moving the system.

Ok that's one for the systemlords to figure out.:D
