Not all ear drum ruptures heal fast. It's better to have a firm diagnosis and have a plan than to just play it day by day.

Thank you for this and I will follow this advise and hopefully get a better understanding on what happened and when to be able to dive again.

No it's the same. ENT stands for Ear, Nose and Throat doctors. Also can use the term Otolaryngology.
