@Swedish Scuba Steve please see a head and neck doctor to get a better examination of your ear drum.
Not all ear drum ruptures heal fast. It's better to have a firm diagnosis and have a plan than to just play it day by day.

Thank you for this and I will follow this advise and hopefully get a better understanding on what happened and when to be able to dive again.
