Pro light mount does not work with BigBlue

My Zgear Pro pole light mount arrived yesterday but unfortunately it will not mate with my BigBlue VTL 2500P video light. This light takes a smaller bolt and the mounting surface is flat with two pins. The curved plastic piece and the supplied bolts will not attach to this light even though the mount is advertised to work with BigBlue lights. Please advise.
