Hey y'all (yes I'm from the South, lol), I figured I would introduce myself and express my excitement all in one place because it's late and I ought to get to bed.
My name is Alexis and I am 19 years old. I have been wanting to dive for over 2 years now and I am just now able to afford it. My fiance and I signed up for classes at our LDS and were told that it might get canceled because it wasn't full enough, so he said he would call us. Well he never called, so I called him and asked a bunch of questions that I had thought of (gotta love us noobs) and he explained to me that we are actually the only two in the class but he has commited to letting us stay with the dates we originally signed up for and go on the check out dives with just us! So basically we are getting private lessons for the cost of regular "public" lessons!
I'm really excited to finally get the ball rolling. Tomorrow we go in to go over all our homework and then Saturday we start our confined water dives, he said we might be able to knock all of them out in one day since it's just the two of us. Then next weekend we go on our check out dives, which will probably be to Devil's Den (which ironically is one of the places I wanted to go to before I knew that they went there) and/or Rainbow River.
Anyways, I hope to make this board one of my frequently visited and posted on forums.
