Baja Connections is offering early bird specials for this fall’s season of scuba diving in La Paz. Our private dive vacations are available for the months of September and October, the prime time for scuba diving in La Paz. These packages are private, this means a private guide and a private boat for your scuba diving and whale shark tours with us here in La Paz.
La Paz is located on the east coast of the Baja peninsula, between the cities of Cabo San Lucas and Loreto. Accessible by air, road and sea this coastal town is popular with kayakers, wildlife watchers, sports fisherman, free divers and scuba divers. Even though it's only a two hour drive away La Paz is far different than the neighboring tourist destination of Cabo San Lucas. You won't find any sales people working the beaches or marinas, definitely a more laid back approach to tourism.
The waters of La Paz are home to a wide variety of sea life including numerous shark and ray species, whales, dolphins, sea lions, whale sharks and all the fish and invertebrate life that these larger animals depend on. Just a short boat ride from the harbor of La Paz lies Isla Espiritu Santo, a UNESCO World Heritage site that encompasses over eighty square kilometers. These islands are uninhabited and offer excellent scuba diving sites and abundant marine life.
Our diving trips and whale shark safaris include a private PADI certified dive-master, all necessary rental equipment and national park fees. There are no limits on bottom time, we will stay as long as air/profiles permit. For those who wish to travel light on their holiday we have a variety of free to use rental equipment including weight integrated BCDs, 3mm and 5mm wet-suits, high quality regulators, wet-suit boots, dive computers and open heel fins.
