Being as I'm absolutely new at U/W picture taking I don't have a clue about printing out my photos. They look fine on the computer monitor but when I try to print they have a reddish tint like I had set the white balance at depth then took a picture on the surface without resetting the white balance.

The camera is an A95, and the pics. I took in Coz. were in the P mode with the white balance set on the sand or my dive slate. The color profile says sRGB.

Another set of pics. from a local quarry were taken in the Tv mode with the shutter speed set on 1/125 and white balance set on my dive slate.

The printer I have is an old HP deskjet model 722c. I have tried to print both on the auto feature on the printer and also manually selected sRGB as the color profile and still get the red tint.

Anyone have any advise on how to print the pics., and am I not doing something that I should be? Maybe need a different printer?

I think that I may have figured it out. I tried to print some land pics. that have printed out just fine before and they also have a reddish tint.

I may just need a new color ink cartrige. Duuuhhh. :D

I'll try that and see.

O.K., problem solved. For some reason I was thinking that the printer wouldn't read the white balance change. I usually have more warning when a cartridge goes out. And I even had someone advising me on checking the printer settings. :D

I'll chime in here and say that printing at home is generally more trouble that it's worth (and expensive too). I've switched to online printing services. Snapfish is a big consumer level one. The prints look fine. Next I'm going to try mpix.com which I hear is better.

I'll try that, but was just wanting to print out about 5 or 6 right now.

And problem is "almost" solved. The land pics. come out looking good and like they do on the monitor, but the U/W pics. are a little skewed as far as color and don't look as good as they do on the monitor. The U/W colors are way off.

The quarry ones look O.K.; flesh tones and colors are good, and green water is green water. :D

But the Coz. pics are not printing out real good as far as the color goes.
