Princeton Tec Bottom Timer

I have a Princeton Tec bottom timer from the early 80's and it works fine in the water but I can't figure out how to re-set it back to zero? I can turn the stem to make it ratchet, which I assume winds the thing, but I don't see how to reset it. Can anyone help me out?

I needed to use a pliers to get it to pull up, but it worked.
