I just don't log dives
When I took my fundies I did not owned a primary/canister light and used a borrowed one, during class was the only time I dove a canister light and never used one ever since, but I just got a Eos today(sweeeet) and have 2 questions...

1) There were times when we clipped the light using the permanent clip(the one tied to the goodman handle) and other times we used a double ender clipped to the bunggie loop, I think this is called temporary park? So, can you guys refresh my memory on why I would do that, I'm thinking, why not just always use the bolt snap on the handle?

2) This one seems more logical, but, just to clarify...
When I'm done with the light and have it clipped to my right chest dring, the long hose will be free right? All I have to do is tuck the light cord on the waist belt UNDER the long hose right?

Thanks a bunch

The temporary clip thing comes in handy when you need the light to be on, but use both hands. If you clip it with the permanent clip, it can (and probably will) shine in your buddy's eyes.

So if you're shooting an SMB, or switching gases, or whatever, the temporary clip (which results in the light facing down) is the best choice.

Its always good practice to get the light cord tucked out of the way and under the longhose when you clip it either way.

Cool, so it's a matter of keeping the light pointing downwards, makes sense, thanks.
