Hi all,

I bought a dive light - Mares EoS 5. I'll use it for some time as primary and after that I'll make it a back up light.
I can however decide on where and how to place it. I have attached a boltsnap to it and I want to have it on my right upper D-ring. However it will hang downwards which is not good. I'm using Ring 20 wing.

Any advice on how to attach it and where to place it?

On the bp/w rig we use a piece of inner tube on the strap to slide the light into after it is bolt snapped to the d ring. The harness strap passes through the innertube. Look at the pic below.

+1 for the inner tube or bungee loop to secure. I have a piece of inner tube AND a bungee loop on mine as I prefer the inner tube when I am not wearing gloves, but if I happen to be in gloves it is easier to grab the knot on the bungee when it is time to stow the light.
