I was wondering what is the pressure between the first and second stage?

the intermediate pressure varies from reg to reg. the highest, i believe is around 170 psi in one of the poseidon regs. normally it's about 115 psi

thanks I don't know why I wanted to know I just did and now I do!

According to the NAUI Master Diver training manual intermediate pressure is anywhere between 90 - 150 PSI (6 - 10 bar).

120 to 145 psi is the "normal" range for virtually all reg manufacturers.

A range as high as 150 psi is becoming more common as some companies cheat out the upper end a few psi to boost flow rate. At the other extreme, some regs intended for use in cold water with an over abundance fo flow rate will use an IP at the 120-125psi end of the range.

Older double hose regs had IP's in the 90-110 psi range, but that low of a range is no longer standard on single hose regs. In fact many vintage double hose regs that are updated and returned to service often have the IP set closer to 140-150 psi. to improve flow rate and performance.

Older Poseiden regs used an IP of 170 psi but their latest generation of regulators are designed to use an IP in the normal range.
