Hi,
I am glad to report that we have just published the beta version of the Predator Log Manager App on Google Play

The Predator Log Manager is the first App - ever - that allows a user to download a scuba dive log directly into a smartphone.

We are looking for few volunteers to beta test the App.
To be considered as a beta tester you should:
- have a Predator
- have an Android smartphone with Bluetooth
- have a PC
- have an account with us for divePAL / DiveComputerTraining

Beta testing will consist in:
- downloading your logs from the Predator into the App
- add relevant information to the logs
- synch few logs to divePAL (we are mainly interested in logs of technical dives with multiple gasses and / or CCR
- review those dives with divePAL Tech (we will give a free divePAL Tech license to the selected beta testers)
- provide feedback as necessary

..... What else do I need to do.

1) Get the Predator Log Manager App from Google Play and install it in your smartphone
2) download logs from the Predator into the App
3) Play with the App
4) Synch few logs (the tech ones with multi-gasses) with divePAL (by tapping on the synch button)
5) Check with divePAL the logs you just synched in #4
6) Provide feedback / report issues / provide suggestions for improvements

August 24, 2012 - Version 1.3

Bug Fixes
- Fixed several issues with the "Log Number" numeric entry dialog (especially when using the keyboard).
- Dialog will no longer crash if you delete all digits. Instead, it will be set to 0.
- Dialog will remember the cursor position when entering numbers, instead of resetting to the most significant digit every time you enter a number.
- Now allows numbers in the range 0 to 10,000 instead of 0 to 100.

Misc
- Changed the art asset for the "Sync Log with divePAL" to a more appropriate image.

October 2, 2012 - Version 1.6

New Features
- Updated the "sync" function for logs that have been uploaded to divePAL.
- The feature should now be able to determine whether to download the newest server log, upload changes from the current local log, or do nothing much more reliably than it was before.
- In the event that there are both local changes and changes on the server, the app will now prompt the user for a course of action.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the current gallery would be overwritten on sync if the log on the server was newer.

Misc
- Updated visual logo resources to remove the Shearwater logo (Please remember that the Predator Log Manager is a DiveNav product and Shearwater does not provide support for it. If you need help with the Predator Log Manager, please contact us on our support forum).
- Current log custom icons are now submitted to the divePAL server when uploading logs.

Excellent! Any plans for an iOS version?
Nope.
Someone at Apple decided that iOS devices should NOT support Bluetooth SPP (Serial Port Protocol) :shakehead:
