I recently got hold of a reg set that consists of Calypso 2nd stages and a Calypso 1st stage. Repair manual for the 2nd stages was pretty easy to find on frogkick, but the best I could do for the 1st stage was the one that they have, which appears to be for a newer model.

The one that I have is the one that has the end cap with the two indentations.

The set is pretty old and has not been used in some time, and, by the looks of things, not well looked after.

I managed to clean the two 2nd stages quit easily, but I would much rather have a decent repair guide before I start with the 1st stage.

O-rings and seats I can easily get hold of (I'm a production engineer at a commercial diving company) and I have more than enough experience servicing regulators. I also have access to an O2 cleaning facility, so getting everything in working order should be easy.

Does anyone have such a manual, or can I use the one from frogkick?

Is there a big deference in the model at 2004? I guess you have found the ones below. Probably the end cap has been upgraded in later models as the use of the pin spanner may has been a problem, but the internals are the same.

I'm pretty sure you can use the manual from frogkick or scubaspares, technically there is no difference between the pre 2004 model and the one in frogkick, but if you prefer to have the older manual, write me a PM, probably my 2000er Calypso Manual is the one you want.:)

Thanks Axxel.

I ended up following the frogkick one. Apart from the outside looking different they are essentially the same. I'm used to working on much more complicated regulators, so I managed to work around the differences.

I'm going to PM you my e-mail address, just so that I can have a look at yours. I'm still a bit worried about the torque values.

Thumbs up to axxel57. His manual was exactly what I was looking for.
