Hi,

Besides being in the landlocked prairies, I'm also in the Great White North (Saskatchewan) so I've not ever been diving up here. I did live in Freeport (Bahamas) in the late '60s and was certified then, but I've only occasionally snorkelled since the '60s, so scuba is new to me again.

I just finished my PADI OWD classroom and pool work and will do my open water cert dives in December in Puerto Vallarta. It wasn't planned as a diving trip but things came together, so here I go. The real motivation, though, is a trip back to Freeport in January that, again, wasn't originally a dive trip, but it sure will be now!

Anyone have advice for either PV or Freeport? My PV cert dives and another 3 days are already booked with Vallarta Adventures, but I've not booked anything yet in Freeport other than a hotel.

Cheers,
Rod.
