Quick question. My dive computer downloads a graph that shows my PPO2 level during the dive. Is this information relevant to a new diver diving on compressed air, or is it information for Nitrox diving?

Thanks,

Mark

For all practical, recreational purposes, it's a function of nitrox diving.

PP02 is always relative- admittedly moreso in nitrox planned dives..so unless you plan to hit the likes of 60+ metres (ft anyone?) on air alone...i wouldn't worry too much about it. But when (if) you head down the nitrox road- it will become very relative!

Thanks guys. 60M is well out of my range. I'm waiting till next year for Nitrox. I'm sure as I continue my studies it will become apparent. I just wanted to make sure that I hadn't missed something that may be important. [EDIT] to me at this point in the game.
