I have 2 powerlights from the late 90's, maybe early 2000's & I need a new charger. The booklett says: POWERLIGHT-Rechargeable version (P/N 30-031-X00) SPECIFICATIONS: Lead acid battery: Gates 6V-5Ah (08090012), Charger: automatic 220V (optional 110V)
Recharging operation - WARNING: use only the SCUBAPRO charger (P/N 30-030-117). I called SCUBAPRO & the service man said SCUBAPRO doesn't sell them any more & he doesn't know where to get a charger & maybe I can find something on the internet. I can find 6V/5A chargers but I can't find one with the correct plug that goes into the powerlight. Someone suggested it might be from Italy/Europe. Where can I get a charger? These were expensive lights. I would hope that SCUBAPRO expected their product to last for years & years & has a business plan to support their quality items. To be told basically, too bad & good luck is irritating & not encouraging me to buy SCUBAPRO in the future. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
