The power on Bonaire is 127V 50 Cycle. My Sony camcorder batteries charged fine in the Sony charger as it's rated for 100-220/50-60c. So if your camera has the same option, you should be fine.scubaaaronh:We are staying at the plaza resort in a few weeks and i was wondering what kind (if any) of a power converter i would need for my Olympus C5060 battery charger?
dvrliz1:You are fine. Most of the places have "dual" outlets. We have no problem plugging in things. Just don't bring an alarm clock or a US made microwave (not that you will). The clock will not keep correct time (50 vs 60 cycles) and the micro doesn't work well (we tried it, it takes longer to cook stuff and gets hot quicker). Aaron, remind me when you will be on the island? We will be there Jan 19 - Feb 17. Would love to get together for dinner at Gibi's on a Tuesday night!

If you ever need something in the future, Radio Shack sells a kit with all the adapters. I think it's about $20. You won't need it in Bonaire though. Our U.S. plugs fit perfectly into the outlet that has the extra slot at 45' on one side.scubaaaronh:Mine Has The Same Electrical Rating I Just Didn't Know If They Had The Flat Blades Or The Round Pin, And Wasn't Sure What To Get If They Had The Round Pins
