It worked out that there were only 3 of us on the dive boat tonight, one of which being the Captain. Four divers no showed and the other dive crew member/owner was not able to make it due to sudden illness. Just as we were expecting the Captain to call it off we were told he would take out just the two of us. We were allowed to be our own dive guides with a promise to come back up at a specific time. Can it get better than this...just me and another new diving acquaintance who is also a PhotoG. We asked to be dropped at a location with Orange Cup Coral and Frog Fish. Although the Frog Fish did not make an appearance at this specific site, we hit paydirt with the OCCs.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I get at least one more dive in tomorrow. Wish you all were here. I may try to post pictures of a couple of other subjects later tonight, time permitting.

Mermaid Sport Dive - I would definitely recommend them. The chances are very low that they will let you go at it alone without a DM. A good decision was made to allow us to do this based on a number of factors. Although I have not dove with the day crew, I have met Tito on a couple of ocassions this week and know you would enjoy them.

I dove with Red Sail Sports tonight. I may post more on my experience with them later, but right now I think I would have preferred to pass on diving completely versus the experience I had.
