The NHC has changed the predicted path for Hurricane Delta and it's not looking so good for Cozumel, or for New Orleans, either.

Well Gamma may be history in Coz but it seems be taking a weird circle back to the gulf coast.

Now it looks like it's going to break up over the peninsula. Flooding is always the most dangerous threat overall, a few have died in Mexico from that, so the two other states on the peninsula need to finish riding it out safely.

Now Cozumel seems to be in the zone of hate, and s/he is going to get mean! Cat-3?!

Well, we are scheduled to fly in Sat. morning for a week. Might be a good thing I have cancel anytime travel insurance. Going to be blown out and totally mixed up even with the current cleaning. NHC interactive track looks completely different from this morning.

Hurricane warnings have already been posted for the island so any trip insurance should cover losses.

Delta will be gone by Saturday, yeah, but it's prudent to wait and see what's left I think.

Guess not. The report from this morning was a bit of water seeped into one bedroom on the second floor through a sliding patio door. No damage whatsoever.
