Hi. When I was in Cozumel (24 hrs before Wilma) my Sea and Sea DX8000 (yeah - brand spanking new) flooded. So...now that my DAN insurance has settled the claim (never dive without it!!) I am re-thinking my gear.

What I liked about it was the 8mp and the lack of shutter lag. I am debating switching to a Canon A or S series (have a Digital Rebel for on land - do not want to risk it) instead.

Is it a challenge to connect a YS-25Auto strobe to the Canon cases with the fiber link?

Thanks.

I love my S70 but there is definitely a fair bit of shutter lag, which may be problematic if you are not used to this. The Canon housing has been faultless however. I use an Inon strobe, so I'm not sure about attaching the Sea & Sea strobe. The diffuser plate in front of the strobe on the DC40 housing can be unscrewed and removed, if needed.
