Hey everyone,

I might be moving here for work. Im trying to figure out cost of living..... Whats a good monthly income needed...... Also will I need to ship my car...... Any good websites to see rooms for rent or apartments for rent.

It all depends on your way of living.

The min local salary is 1500NAF ($825) BEFORE taxes. An instructor makes around 2500/2900NAF. Both survive :)

What area are you looking for a rooms/apartments? Where will you be working? Although its an island driving can be a pain in

I would rent or buy a car for awhile. You dont want to know how many people shipped there car and belongings over only to find out the island wasnt working for them and left.

Bas gave you pretty good answers, and I certainly agree about the car. As for websites just google. There are tons of them. What you're looking for is "te huur," which is rentals. Myself and curacaosunshine on this board are both American expats. Feel free to pm us anything specific.
