The performance has improved but I still have one problem.
Using the parameters shown in the attached image the search engine frequently doesn't complete the query after which the whole site appears unavailable for some time.
This is a search I use a lot to see new threads that aren't very active (yet
)
I figure if i have something like this then other people do to...

no key words
no user names
search options:
1) at most 5 replies
2) posts from last visit and newer
3) sort by number of replies
4) all open forums
5) results as threads
