Mares America, a division of HEAD USA, has an immediate opening for an experienced Scuba diving technician to handle replacement and repair of returned warranty items in our Baltimore, Maryland service center. Responsibilities include:

> Repairs scuba equipment received by the warranty/service department as well as
answers customers inquiries regarding scuba equipment, repairs in process,
warranty items and general inquiries.

> Inspects, services and repairs scuba equipment to include regulators, spearguns,
buoyancy compensators (BCs), gauges.

> Communicates with customers regarding equipment returns, repairs and
troubleshooting problems via email, telephone, fax.

> Inspects and maintains service center equipment.

> Assures compliance with all equipment safety requirements.

> Invoice repair or service orders in SAP. Processes credits and returns in SAP.

> Maintain and organize the parts stock/inventory for the department.

> Repair wardrobe equipment as needed.

> Handles special projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION
Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication skills; able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline oriented work environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified Regulator Technician; Visual Inspection Certificate; Certified Scuba diver a plus. Fork Lift Driver.

TRAVEL
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret general business documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, SAP, etc.
