I’m looking for a replacement on/off button for a Poseidon Compressor. I haven’t taken it out to check for a part number, I prefer to get a new one to swap at the same time if possible. Anyone recognize this and could lead me to a new one?

Not going to happen long gone. Even its replacement was discontinued years ago
The part number was ZB2BA9734 part of the then Telemecanique range then taken over by Schneider to become part of the Harmony range. Now Schneider has sold the sensors part to Yageo.

Also the ZB2BA9134 and ZB2BA9734 Used to be very popular in the scuba compressor panel builders as they were cheap and pretty reliable for the price
Nearest you might get is the Harmony XB4 range part XB4BL73415

A professional compressor supplier would have informed you as a customer of any component end of life and either offered a replacement/spare part at the time or at least the opportunity to buy the available spares while stocks last.

Thanks. You know your switches. This Harmony potential replacement? Would it work as an on/off just wouldn’t fit the panel? Or are the wires different as well?

I know a lot of diving stuff just no one wants to know but thanks for the comment LOL
I've built a lot of compressors for a lot of folk over a lot of year but I don't advise on electrical its better to use a qualified and experienced electrician than trust an internet opinion where to poke the wires

At least you have a well made compressor and switch alternatives are still available even if not for long and now Poseidon (now Bauer) don't support that build.

Look on the bright side at least you don't have an old Coltri or a Nardi
For all those and other junk scuba compressors I would have had to recommend the following:
Made in Scotland. Iain

I found that original switch, it’s not cheap like I thought. Sometimes I have to push the button multiple times to get the compressor to start. I’m trying to figure out if just replacing the switch is my best first step in locating the problem

You hold the button in for a couple of seconds, pull it apart and clean it

Where did you find the original switch man

you can either disassemble it and clean the contacts *think points on a distributor from the dark ages* or you can try to find replacement. That part will have an NSN number which appears to be 5930013760515 so you can try to find the other approved manufacturers part numbers by looking it up by NSN if you want a drop in replacement. At the end of the day though it is a momentary start/stop button box and those are pretty standard.

Not endorsing this and you'd have to check dimensions and mounting but something like this could work. There is nothing special about a momentary stop/start button pack in terms of functionality

Great. I’ll give cleaning it a shot. Thank you both
You should just be able to take off the NO (normally open) contact that is used for the start button. It is released by unscrewing the slotted screw with the thread in it. Normally there is a spring inside, so be a little careful. These are not designed to be taken apart, so there is always the possibility of breaking it.

The original button looks like a 22mm button. This is the size of the hole it fits in. There is normally an anti rotation tab on the actuator. The location and size may be different between makes, but a file can modify the hole to make it fit. Many companies make buttons this size.

Ensure the electrical power is isolated before starting work.
