Poseidon Jetstream Valve Insert Question..

Just a couple question about valve inserts from Poseidon Jetstream 2nd Stages.

a) Is the rubber shell supposed to permanently bonded to the black plastic base? I have replaced a couple of these just due to age, and noticed that one of these showed some movement at the base (red arrow) that I did not notice in the others. Is this a failure?

b) Any real difference between the clear valve insert (shown) and the newer blue replacements that I have received?

c) What is the significance of the number under the rubber cover? This one is a "7" and one of my others is a "29"

a. they are separate pieces, no fusing there, so no problem
b. not that I am aware of
c. no idea.
