Porteau Cove Saturday Oct 17th

Hello divers!

A friend and I are planning to go diving in BC for our first time this Saturday. We are planning on going to the Porteau Cove site since it seems to be the easiest and safest shore dive in the area to get started with.

We are capable of diving on our own, but it would be cool to meet some other divers in the area around our age. We are in our early to mid twenties.

Our plan is to start diving around about 1pm or so.

I'm sure you will run into lots of other divers at Porteau. It's a very popular site full of marine life including several giant pacific octopus and some very large ling cod. A good dive light would be good to have. I only have Sunday's off so won't be there Saturday. If you go on Sunday too a group of us may be there.
