Started diving with double hose regulator, metal back pack with cotton straps and D ring belt. No BCD. No lining in my wet suite.

Trips to the fire station to get the tank filled. My PADI card doesn’t even have a card number. In the day 1972 they didn’t think it was necessary.

Purchased my first NEW tank from Sears and my first NEW spear gun from Wall Mart.

Used to dive most of the north Florida springs when they were all open and just had signs warning you of how many divers had died in that particular cave.

God, I loved being young and stupid.

Quit for 20 years to raise two kids. Son is now 17 and we are diving again. Mostly around Port St Lucie Inlet Florida.

Finally enough post to post URL links.

Sorry for all the different post on one subject.

I have a 20 foot Century Center console equipped with side scan sonar.

If you want to get to know me just look through my albums at www.StevenGann.com

Love the board. I have been reading it for some time.
