These are port plugs I made to fill the through holes in the cordura shell that are exposed when I remove the redundant bladder.

When sidemount diving with a drysuit, I find my chest is too cluttered with two power inflators and a suit inflator. I don’t need the redundant bladder as drysuit provides lift redundancy.

Removing / installing the redundant bladder takes ~2 min and requires a zip tie (for install).

Why not remove the inflator, fully inflate the primary bladder to squish out any air then install a blanker to seal it and leave the secondary bladder in place?

A blank plate is possible to replace the dump valve, but not at the hose connection. The way xdeep stealth and zen bladders are designed, they use an integrated connector rather than a flange and elbow; the inflator hose connects directly to the bladder with zip ties.

I did experiment with using a vacuum hose end to leave the bladder in place but I couldn’t come up with a clean solution. Since every solution requires clipping zip ties, I decided pulling out the RB was easiest for me.
