Has anyone ever done a dive there?
There is a long cement pier into Lake Erie?
I was thinking of a shore dive there soon.

What about the quarry at Waterford. It is a conservation area.
Any info on these or others

There's a quarry in Waterford? Most of the Conservation Authorities get bent out of shape at the suggestion of diving. They seem to think it's dangerous. Someplace new and reasonably close would be most welcome.

I did phone the conservation office and was told that diving is allowed.
Wanted to find out more info. Depth etc.

They don't know how deep it is? Have you got a link to a website or anything for it? Address/directions? And what hours they open. I don't think it's take too much longer to reach Waterford from here than it does Gulliver's, so would likely be up for an evening dive to explore. We could probably get a group or 4 to 6 together (or more) one evening.

Count me in :D
Provided the day, you'll decide on suits ;)

If you can post a dive report on the Waterford quarry, that would be excellent -- along with some directions as to how to find the place (assuming its worth it) :10:

The quarry at Waterford is now run by a company called 'Inland Outfitters". Phone is 519-443-4702
Waterford is between Brantford and Simcoe.
I was told the quarry is 28ft. deep and is used by many divers
for training.
It is open all the time and entrance fee is $2.75 /person
I was planning on going up this afternoon but that may not happen.
Anyone that goes tell us about it.
