Recently I had my Royal Aquamaster two hose regulator serviced by Bryan Pennington. I shipped it in a heavy large cardboard box, packed with a lot of plastic peanuts. When I shook the box the regulator did not move proving it was securly packed. Since it was so well packed I did not insure it. When I received the regulator after it was serviced the box it came in was a small priority mail box, loosely packed with peanuts. The regulator was completly destroyed! It looked like a ten pound sledge hammer bashed it! The Yoke was bent like a pretzel and both covers were severly dented and useless. When I spoke to Bryan via E-Mail he told me to work it out with the USPS. He wanted nothing to do with this situation. I know he received it in good condition as for some reason the CD that comes with each rebuilt regulator was in good condition and it showed the regulator being rebuilt. Somehow either the regulator fell out of the box before being damaged or the CD fell out. The box was also smashed. I thought l as a good business man the least he could do is return the $60.00 I spent to have the regulator rebuilt. He totally refused. Now I am out a perfectly good regulator worth $300.00 to $500.00 and the money spent for servicing. I also deal with the general public and if he was a good business person he would at least help me in some way. This would encourage future business transactions. It probably was the USPS fault for damaging the unit so badly but Bryan could have used a little common sense and insured the package, which he did not and pack it in a larger box very carefully. He did insist that this is the way he ships them all over the county but there is always a first time for a disaster to take place. Its a shame this has happened but I do not see doing any further business with Bryan under the curent circumstances.
