After reading 70 responses to the linked post I think I can sincerely say, "I'm Sorry" ;)

Unless less it's a very, very deep pool ... no worries ... fly way.

See this thread.

awe, did the uber-thread from last month go the way of the dodo?

edit, oh. Damnit, Thal's edit makes my post look REALLY dumb :P

I often DRIVE to 9000' after diving at 5000'. The dives are generally shallow, and I never come anywhere near NDL.

It's not about just diving and flying, but about nitrogen buildup, and lowering the pressure around your body. If the nitrogen buildup is close to NILL, there is no reason to worry.

At 10' for 30 mins you're fine. The RDP doesn't even go that low because it's basically insignificant. Simply the few hours it would take you to get from the pool to the airport, check in, pass security, take off and reach altitude - no problems ...

Simply the few seconds it takes to say "Beam Me Up, Scotty" - no problems :D

Here we go again.

It would be no problem to fly instantly.

Yea ... but we can reread it any time, we don't have to replicate it.
