Pure politics is not allowed on Scuba Board. HOWEVER, when it comes to the environment and especially to Scuba Diving, we feel that these discussions are relevant and have merit. All we ask is that you DON'T devolve into partisan politics (Democrats vs. Republicans) and that races and nationalities are to be kept out of it. Pete, that's a noble, but unworkable goal. Once politics are discussed, the genie is out of the bottle. Environmental politics, especially when it involves funding, is partisan politics. There is no way to separate them. I hope it works this time, but I don't have high hopes.
