I think it's a pretty reasonable pricetag actually. It states that you get "instant acceleration" with these fins which seems worth spending roughly $700 more than most fins. Don't you ever get tired of kicking and then having to wait for the propulsion to kick in? It once took me 45 minutes to swim across a 25 yard pool because my fins weren't signed by Bob Evans.
