The problem is common names.
Two quite separate and distinct species are called Sally Lightfoot: Percnon gibbesi and Grapsus grapsus; the latter is found on the Pacific coast and is also called the red rock crab, the former is also called the nimble spray. You were in the Caribbean; you saw a P. gibbesi. To avoid confusion you'd best call it a nimble spray. And if you'd seen it in the Galapagos, you'd best call it a red rock. They don't even look alike. The leg markings are your ID key for your picture.

Nimble spray is what how I saved it in my photo library. Although sally lightfoot is a very cool name.
