I'm a Fish!
I found this piece of cloth in the wreck currently known as the Sea Wolf (true name not yet discovered) off of the coast of Long Island. Does anyone have any ideas regarding what it could be? It appears to be made out of linen.

The piece of cloth is approximately 6' x 4'. Not much is known about the wreck site, but I copied the following from the charter boat page:

"The Seal Wolf lies in 95 feet of water south of Moriches Inlet. There is so much wreckage here that some believe that it is actually two wrecks. Mostly metal, she surprisingly yields a fair amount of good size lobsters. She has areas with good relief and also areas with low profile debris. Having lot of nooks and crannies, fin fish and crustacean abound. Again this is one of those wrecks, where we are not sure if the name “Sea Wolf” was her name, or the name of the vessel that found her."

So thats where my beach towel went!

Don Burke:
My guess is a custom sheet for a boat berth. It can't be very old.

Or are you saying that I need a towel the size of a boat?

Patrick and I did our IE together, I am sure thats where he picked it up.

Geography is not my strength but it looks like the flag for an emerging state called "Carjackistan"

hmmm...that last post was a tad on the tasteless side.
