Hello:
I have a PLD that needs a wire replacement. The wire allows the lid to stay on the canister's side. Looking for advice on replacing the broken wire. What kind (wire or cave line or ?) should I use and how to reattach.

Enclosed is a closeup picture. One concern I have is that what happens to the screw hole when/if I place a new wire or cave line. I don't want it to strip. Unfortunately I have never worked with Delrin.

Thanks

Unscrew both screws, loop in your line, then re-screw. Just don't tighten too much, I don't know torque spec but I would call it "hand tight."

I would look for something stainless steel leader loop or something like that, thinner diameter than cave line.
