Hi guys and girls!!

Concidering the fact that I think I outgrew my 5060 PT 020 combi, it would be nice to have other user's opinion and/or experience with the Oly 330 and Oly housing...:blinking:

There's also a 10Bar housing available for this cam... any comments on that one too??

Lookin' fwd to your good selves reactions!:D

Hey Pennywise,

I bought an E330 recently myself and have been checking into the housing possibilities. I have found that the Oly and 10Bar housings can only accomodate the Olympus flash. I know this is the case with the Oly housing (having asked them) but not totally sure on the 10Bar. So, I have been patiently waiting (not reallly, it's been killing me) for Ikelite to come out with the housing for the E3030 (they keep pushing the date back ) because I have Ikelite DS 125 strobes which will not work with the other housings. The Olympus flash may be enough for you but I want to take some wide angle shots and from what I have read the Oly flash does not have enough output to get light over larger areas.

I hope that helps you with your research.

Nick,

Thx for your reply.
For the Oly housing, Subtronic manufactures a strobe specially for Olympus TTL. If I decide for that strobe, I'l be using my Inon D2000 as a slave! This config will give me enough power I think.

One day we'll might find a solution together LOL !!

You'll find that strobe on unterwasserkamera there's also an option for pages in english!!

Kind regards,

Rob (Pennywise)

BioG,

Thx for yr reply. I've read the review in uwpmag and it looks like the sort of cam we want! Presently I'm using only 1 Mymode for supermacro purposes, anything else is shot in "M", so the 2 Mymodes available in the 330 are ok for me!

Grtzzzzzz,

Pennywise
