I am going to Placencia for 3 weeks in June. I plan to dive in Placencia for a week, travel jungles for a week, return to Placencia and dive another week. Can somebody advise me on the logistics of this trip?
- Is this easy to book a reasonable good accommodation this time of the year? if one goes to 1-week jungle trip, and reserve the same place to stay in Placencia for the other week, do they store one's scuba gear for that time? A suggestion on a good place to stay?
- How to arrange a trip to jungles? Where to stay while there, any suggestions on the itinerary?
- What are good places to rent a SUV for the trip? Is automatic available or manual only?
- What is the best way to get to Placencia from Belize city? Airfare, bus?
- Anything else you may want to share about the place and your experience
