lol.. yup.. it was even in the article i quoted:

Someone in NJ caught a large piranha in the Delaware river near Trenton in the late 80s. It apparently survived the winter by living in a warm effluent, and took advantage of the teeming numbers of fish that reside in the river. *burp*
He had it stuffed and mounted, it was the size of a dinnerplate.
