Pinnacle charter 11/25 -- anybody want to join us?

Peter Guy, Diver0001 and I would like to go out on the Pinnacle boat to Race Rocks on that Sunday. There are eight spaces on the boat, and we need at least one more person to have it go. I wonder if there are any SB friends who would like to join us? Let me know. Cost is $120.

I'm in. Was booked to go last weekend and had to cancel because of an inner ear problem. Couldn't stand let alone dive.

Looks like you might be lucking out on the weather. A bit too far a way to be sure, but Sunday's forecast is for sun and it looks like the wind is calming done as well.

A few photos from the day. Took wide ange hoping for a sea lion encounter on the first dive at Race Rocks. Had one buzz by but the only shot I was able to take of him is just noise. Vis was not good enough and he was passing by way too fast.

This is typical bottom at Race. Would be better with macro. But the entire bottom is carpeted like this.




This guy was in the kelp at the end of the second dive at the entrance to Pedder Bay. Lighting was excellent - spent a bit trying to get just the right shot. I like this one.

All in all an excellent day on the water - and then the entire boat went for lunch at the local cafe. We talked diving
