Ok folks, I've got a top of the line Pinnacle Aquatics 7mm Merino Lined Elastiprene suit for sale that has had one freshwater dive on it. I purchased it and took it out to dive without trying it on because I have lots of Pinnacle and I ALWAYS wear an XL-S :shakehead:

Well it seems the Merino Elastiprene's run slightly small so it fit but barely and I want a slightly looser suit. It's a great suit, I just need it a bit bigger:depressed:

Here is a link to the suit:

Pinnacle Aquatics

The size chart says 6' to 6'2" but I would say 6'2" is really pushing it (I'm 5'11).

Weight is listed at 200-230 but I'd say anything over about 210 and you are pushing it unless it's all muscle.

Chest is 42-46 but I'm a 46 and it was a stretch so I'd say 42-44 max.

Waist is 34-37 and I'd say you might go to 38 but that would be about it.

I'm thinking the suit overall is equivalent to a large in the other suits.

I'll take $300 and throw in free shipping within the US.

TIA

Ed

Few questions -
How warm is this suit? I dive mostly in rock quarries in Northern Minnesota, so it gets cold!

Easy to take on and off?

Does it have zippers on the ankles and wrists?

I am 6' 200-205 lbs, at 5'11" does the length feel about right to you?

Thanks!

Wow Minnesota! Personally I'd be using my drysuit in that weather. Having said that, this is the warmest 7mm I've dove and I'd put it up against any suit other than a hood integrated semi-dry.

It has ankle zippers but not wrist zippers. It is extremely stretchy and warm.

Length should be fine, as for your weight it depends on how it's distributed :)

hello I'm intrested in your Pinnacle suit...but guess would be too big: I'm 5'8" and 180 lbs ...chest 43 inches...anyway thanks ;-)

Not sure it is going to be too large. All depends on how tight you like your suit :) It really was very tight on me (as in I barely made it work for the day and that is with the elastiprene).

If his suit is an XL-S it might work for you. I'm good in a L-S, and I'm 5' 8" 160 lb. The ML fit me, barely, but was too snug and a struggle to get into.

Mine was made in China.

Pinnacle ME suits made in the Philippines match the size chart. My experience trying on and ordering several ME suits, the ones made in China are too small and do not match the size chart. I don't know if this is a limited problem or applies to all China made suits. I would stick with the Philippines made suits unless you can try on the China made suits. I know this doesn't help you sell your suit but if it was a Philippines made suit, I would have been interested. Have you tried to return the suit since it doesn't match the size chart? Good Luck
