Pictures in Profiles?

Why don't more people put their photo in their profiles?

I love putting a face to a name. I also wish people would be less worried about putting their B-date. I'm interested in knowing how much life experience people have.

Personally, I have'nt put a photo in my profile because I'm computer challenged and have'nt figured out how to do it yet - but I'm trying and one day you will all be "blessed" with my mug!!

I did'nt put the year I was born, not because I'm ashamed, but because the board would'nt let me - because I'm a woman - talk about sexist!!!!ut:

but I can't figure it out.... so if you want to see the mug have to go to my hotmail.... it is the same pic as I was going to put here. My name there is the same as here ut: go figure.

First, you need a .jpg image of yourself in a file on your computer. Then, at the top of the page, click on the little blue oval that has "user cp" in it.
Once that page is up, you'll see a menu bar - the right hand item is "Upload Photo" - click on that and then follow the directions.

I tried that and it just did'nt work for me. I'm going to be seeing a friend soon that is a lot more computer savy and maybe get some hands-on help. Then you're in for a treat ha,ha,ha!!!

to check the resolution! There is a limit to the size of file that you can upload. I know for a fact, that Lady Diver has helped quite a few to get their "mug" on the board. Mine will follow shortly when I have one worth posting!

I'm puzzled by your comment that the board wouldn't let you put the year you were born. I have include the year I was born, and have seen many people do the same. Having said that, I'll check my own profile from the end of this post, to be sure it shows up.

When I first registered I tried to type the year and a message came up saying women don't have to show the year born. I have now gone back and typed it in - I'm proud of my life experience!
I'm still having a problem getting my picture on my profile. I have to figure out how to make it smaller so it will fit the dimensions. As I have time I play around with the computer and figure things out (and sometimes screw things up). I have very little experience with computers and hate reading technical stuff.
I really enjoy reading people's profiles and seeing their faces or diving pics.

Once I actually get a picture, I will put one up. However, it will have to have a warning label to view at your own risk.
