hey need a little help picking out a BC been renting awile and the last thing on my list is a BC this is what im looking for.......

under 550$ (and thats pushing it)
Photography friendly (dunno if a back inflate or jacket would be best)
travel friendly

thanks for your help

I have the Seaquest Black Diamond, it works with a single tank and it has a backplate with grommet holes for doubles. Leisure Pro has them for $559.00

if you have been renting a while you should have an idea of what you want...if not i suggest trying the different types avilable from jacket to back inflate to bp/w....i personally use a dive-rite and a zeagle for a back-up. shop around for pricing as some of the major online shops here on SB match prices....i personally use Dive Sports.

The great thing is that there are many good choices that meet your criteria.

The Zeagle Stiletto:
Zeagle Stiletto BC, BCDS: Men, Zeagle, Zeagle Stiletto BC

If you are interested in a BP&W, I would talk to Tobin in the DeepSeaSupply forum. You can get a full singles setup for about $399-$420, with the really light Kydex plate. It is super light and takes up quite a bit less space than a regular BC, great for traveling. That also leaves some money left over to buy some extras if you want.

You might also want to call ScubaToys and tell them what you are looking for. I'm sure they'll have plenty to choose from.

Good Luck.
