I am looking to find what is out there on video format on the physiology and physics of diving. Tissue loading and off gassing, differences in body compositions and so forth and so on.. I have been in contact with DAN (Divers Alert Network) and they don't have anything in mind that is current. They gave me "Divers do it deeper" part of a TV series made in the 80's and built around a saturation diver. They also have one made in the 80's called "mystery of the bends" and that is all they can come up with..

SO now I am going to put it out to you all for your input. Do you know of any good videos out that give a good explanation of the physics of diving and breaking down the various law (Boyles, Henry...) which might help a new diver (student) comprehend the severity of understanding the effects that they will endure while diving.

Drop me a note!!!

It's not a video, but the padi encyclopedia of recreational diving has some info.

Thanks Gary

I have the encyclopedia and it has some info on it.. But I am trying to find more of a video format as well.

Thanks again

Hello TNDIVER:

The only thing of which I am aware that remotely comes close to what you want is my Decompression Physiology class held at Catalina in the late summer (September 10 – 11) over a weekend.

One needs to check the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber website for more information on this.

You could take a basic chemistry class. All that is covered.

Thanks guys for the input.. I am mainly looking for a video format though. If you know of any videos out that deal with this let me know.. Thanks again.
