I posted a link to an article I have written on Photoshop techniques on another thread and Ed suggested I post it here. It provides a step-by-step tutorial on adjusting photographs for display or printing. The example I use is a wildlife image, but the same techniques are generally applicable to underwater images.

To get to the article, go to http://www.jaytorborg.com and click on Photography, then Articles (my site uses frames so it's easier to navigate from the top level).
