trying to figure out how toput photos on gallery?

First you have to make sure that they are not too big as not everyone has a fast connection or huge screen.

Click on photo gallery in the top blue bar, just below the logo. When that page opens, to the right, below the red bar it says upload photos...from there it should be pretty clear how to do it.

The only way your photos can appear within your posts is if they are hosted on the internet (ScubaBoard Gallery or somewhere else).

Here's how to do it:

1. Find the photo you want to use.
2. Click on the thumbnail to enlarge it.
3. Click your right mouse button, go to the bottom of the menu and chose Properties.
4. Highlight the URL of the photo and copy it (Ctrl-C)
5. In your post, in the SB Code section above the text box, click the IMG button
6. Paste the URL of your photo there and click OK.
7. Your message will include something similar to this....
   [IMG]http://allenhost.com/albums/Roatan-2002/aab.sized.jpg[/IMG]
8. Send the message and your photo will appear in it.

Alternatively, for pictures posted in the ScubaBoard Gallery, you can use the "My Pics"-option (on the right hand side of the text window).

   [*]Use the dropdownlists to select the type of pic that is placed in your message and the location within the message.
   [*]Press [Go] (located in the upper right corner).
   [*]Repeat steps 2-3 if you want to add more pics.
   [*]Close the window.

If your photos are not hosted on the internet, you may attach a photo uploaded from your computer, 5 files per post if the size is 100K or below.

The process is pretty easy:

1. Place the pics on the desktop.
2. Then, after you are done writing your text, scroll down to "Attach Files" (under "Additional Options") and click on [Manage Attachments].
3. This will then offer up a pop up window that says "Manage Attachments".
4. Click on [Browse] and another pop up window will appear.
5. From there you should be able to find the file on your desktop and select the photo.
6. Press

   and the pop up will go away and the "Manage Attachments" window will reappear.
   [*]Press [Upload]. Repeat steps 4-7 if you want to add more pics.
   [*]Press [Close this window] in the upper right corner or bottom and you should be in business.
