Hi Shearwater,

Dives with a Petrel 2 (v29) were conducted in imperial units. Post dive, I needed to share my log data with others who needed it in metric units.

I Changed "units" to metric on the system setup. However, the data on the dive log (depth, temperatures) stayed at imperial units.

How do I change the my dive log data to metric?

Thanks

You don't need to adjust any settings on your Petrel. In Shearwater Desktop click on VIEW and click the metric option.

Thanks. However, I was hoping the petrel unit will be able to do it since I don't bring a laptop on dive trips. In a Suunto, the units can be changed and the logs on the device also adopts the selected unit of measurement.
