Permission Group Issues

I read the how to's related to permsiion groups (one at a time) and did a site wide search, however I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Every time I try to add a permission group I get the following error:

This user's primary usergroup is also listed as a secondary group for this user. Please change the primary group or remove the secondary group.

Suggestions?

Everyone should be fixed now. There were 330 instances of this snafu.
